Hobby Licensed Breeder (TDLR #262), Vickie Scholten has been raising puppies for several years, starting off with the Jack Russell Terriers. She has been breeding for conformation of the breed, agility and calm temperaments. Vickie began her career by adopting one Jack Russell named Roadie. Wasn't long and she had several Jack Russell's and has several litters per year. Vickie's love for breeding healthy and happy puppies grew as she added Chihuahuas, Chipoo's, Yorkiepoos & Maltipoos. Keep in mind, a small hobby kennel so the latter of the designer breeds are usually one or two litters per year. They are not a typical kennel, their dogs are their pets, each of our dogs has been with us since he/she was a puppy, all very much loved and spoiled. She has developed experience with all the breeds and knows them well. Vickie has a gift for connecting with her dogs and their puppies and for finding loving homes for them. She enjoys the dogs and the puppies and gives them lots of daily attention. They are part of the family. The puppies here are not kenneled in the usual way. The puppies and dam have their own nursery room in the home for safety and comfort. When the puppies are about 6 weeks old they get to meet and mingle with the other dogs/puppies in the house, supervised of course! This helps with the socialization and gets them familiar to living around our family and ready for yours. At 7 weeks they begin potty training the puppies and teaching them how to use the doggy door. You will find a puppy from her will be well loved and very affectionate. (photo is one of our Parson "Jack" Russell's, ArchAngel's Little Rascal).
They are located in beautiful East Texas outside of Dallas, Texas. Vickie is a Rotarian and is an active member of her local community. Volunteering when needed and helping out with several charitable events. Vickie enjoys being with her dogs and their puppies, playing with them and just chilling out together. On occasion they will have free puppies or dogs who need a loving home. Read more about this below. .

A Good Dog is a Great Lesson. He has the kind of Faith in his Master that his Master should
have in the GREAT MASTER.
A Faithful Dog will play with you and Laugh with you......or cry...... He'll gladly starve to stay
With you. Not ever Reason Why.....
And when you are feeling out of sorts somehow, he'll understand.....He'll watch you with his
Shining eyes and try to lick your hand....
His blind, Implicit Faith in you is matched by his great Love....The kind all of us should have
In the MASTER up above......
When everything is said and done guess this isn't odd, For when you spell "dog" backwards
You will get the name of GOD!!
If the seller takes CASH ONLY!! Or if they would rather meet you somewhere other than at their home to view the available puppies or where the puppies are kept. Many will say things like I can meet you to be more convenient, just beware anytime someone does not want you to come to their home or the location where the puppies are homed could be suspect. Also, in the State of Texas most breeders are licensed, some hobby breeders are exempt but some like myself went ahead and complied and have been inspected by the State of Texas for approval. You should receive up to date shot records upon the purchase of your new puppy and given the next shot due. Puppies need to be given their shots 3 to 4 weeks apart until 12 to 14 weeks and an annual shot thereafter. Also if current photos cannot be produced in a timely fashion, (when shopping internet) this may indicate that the puppies are not there at all or that they are not the actual breeder and could be working for a puppy mill. If the puppy price is too good to be true, it may be, proceed with caution. Puppy Mill breeders are known for selling at lower than usual prices to move the so called inventory. Your puppy may not be healthy if coming from a Puppy Mill and the cost of getting them healthy could get very expensive.
